Hello, bloggers, today I have great news, or you can say a gift for all of your blogger blogs but first, let me ask some question from you. Do you want to make your blogger blog more professionally? Do you want to make a secure connection between your blog and visitors? And do you want to know how to enable free SSL Certificates on Blogger blog with the custom domain?
HTTPS For Custom Domains On Blogger Blog

If your answer is “right” for all four above question, then you’re at the right place. We all know that Blogger platform is giving the free SSL HTTPS certificates for Blogspot blogs (custom domains), and it is a nice gift for your blog. Google has Officialy released the SSL Certificates for Blogger Blogs with Custom domains, So you no longer need to follow this instruction below.

To enable HTTPS redirect:

  1. Sign in to Blogger.
  2. In the top left, click the Down arrow Down Arrow.
  3. Select the blog to update.
  4. In order for HTTPS menu for custom domain Blogger appears, please access dashboard Blogger through draft.blogger.com then please see in the Settings> Basic as shown below.
  5. In the left menu, click Settings > Basic.
  6. On the right, select Yes under "HTTPS" > "HTTPS Redirect."

Please enable HTTPS Availability by selecting YES, after which the dashboard page will refresh itself which then goes into the process of propagation or redirecting the url from HTTP to HTTPS or waiting for HTTPS is active.

In this period for a while blogs are inaccessible. But do not worry, propagation or redirection of url from HTTP to HTTPS this does not take long, so please just wait a few minutes.

If you disable HTTPS redirect, visitors have two options for viewing your blog:

View the unencrypted version of your blog at http://www.needinter.net
View the encrypted version of your blog at https://www.needinter.net

There are some key benefits if we use HTTPS instead of HTTP, in between:

  • Help check that blog visitors open the correct site and not redirected to malicious sites.
  • Helps detect if any attacker tries to change data sent by Blogger to visitors.
  • Added security measures that make it harder for others to track activity or steal blog visitors' information.

And firmly Google says that HTTPS is a site ranking signal in search results.
